Tala earned her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine Caruso Law in 2023, where she was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Domestic Violence Law. To further enhance her skills in conflict resolution, she's pursuing a Master of Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine’s Straus Institute, a leader in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and negotiation. She began her legal education at the University of San Diego School of Law before transferring to Pepperdine to complete her degree.

Her academic journey began at California State University, Long Beach, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, concentrating on Law, Politics, and Policy.
