Our team of family law attorneys donned their formal attire and joined judicial officers, dignitaries, court administrators, and leaders in the business community at the third annual Inland Empire Holiday Gala held at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019. The evening offered a chance for attorneys, family court officials, and business leaders to loosen their ties and raise a glass in a fun holiday atmosphere.
Attendees helped raise money for a worthy cause as well: A silent auction held at the event generated over $20,000 for Olive Crest, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping abused and neglected children. Several Holstrom, Block, and Parke, APLC attorneys donated items to the auction.
Olive Crest Executive Director Tracy Fitzsimmons honored Managing Attorney Dayn Holstrom with an award recognizing the firm’s charitable work benefiting the non-profit. Over the last five years, Holstrom, Block & Parke, APLC has donated over $160,000 to support Olive Crest's rehabilitative and strengths-based services to children and families in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
The Olive Crest Toy Drive has become a holiday tradition for the firm and our clients. Each year in December, Mr. Holstrom along with Assistant Managing Partner Kristen A. Holstrom of Custody Queens delivers a truck full of new toys that our team collects at the Corona office leading up to Christmas.
The IE Gala also offers a time to honor exceptional work done by our peers for the benefit of families in the area. The 2019 honorees included:
